It is the first time in our married life that we have all of our junk under one roof. We finally have everything removed from our parent's homes. (Glad my Dad isn't on the internet to read this or he may disagree with me). It's a good tired we feel or maybe it's more accurate to say a good, tired, broke feeling. I think it's the right decision. Whatever doubts remain I have tried to give them to God to work out.

Next year it will be a lot easier on the pocketbook for uniforms. Mine only needs one new pair of pants! Last year was horrible for one, I can only imagine three!
What are you going to do with all the time on your hands? More blogging?!?!
Oh, the most frequently asked question! Blockbuster has an early-bird special before 2:00 ;)
To quote Dory in Nemo (kind of)...just keep praying, just keep praying, just keep praying. Perhaps you don't understand it all now, but for some reason you were prompted to do this. Remember we can't see the tapestry from down here. There may be some child that needs a good influence, some teacher that needs to see a student that thrives on pleasing God, some new family friend that you need, the school needs a new library volunteer. If your intent is to please God, and you have prayed, He will reveal to you in His time....just keep praying, just keep praying.
It looks like you guys have been really busy lately! I know this has to be a hard decision, but I bet it will be great! :)
How refreshing to find a Catholic mom blog who's NOT homeschooling! You are not alone! Not every Catholic mom is cut out for homeschooling - definately not me and you know what? That doesn't make me or you a bad mom in any way. We too send most of our kids to Catholic school. Some go to public even and they're doing fine! Kids can be exposed to the real world and take their faith with them.
