Happy Birthday to a Hardworking Ant

Today is my oldest sister's birthday. She is a caretaker of many and can be described as a hardworking Ant or a "Martha." (guess who's known as "Mary?") She works hard to be a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. We all love her and probably depend on her too much. As her sister I can say she is truly like a second Mom, especially now since we have to live without our Mom. I can see that each of our siblings has a special affection for her. At times she must feel over-burdened, unappreciated, and unaware of that special bond and love that each of us have with her. If she did know, it would probably make the load a little lighter. She may be weary but she will be rewarded some day...with exhaustion she will realize that she gave all she had to serve the ones she loved.

Happy Birthday to the Ant that has saved this Grasshopper from many cold, long winters! Thank you and I love you!!! You would make Mom proud.

I have to hardly agree. I don't know what we would do without the Martha Ant. She is a blessing to all of her family. We love her very much!
