Happy New Year! A brand spanking new year - ahhh. My intention was to sit down and load my photos from Christmas, but I discovered this morning that I left my camera at my Dad's last night. I'll share one of my resolutions, to blog more regularly, like I did most of last year. At the end it got a little sparse, and I miss it. The last of our celebrating closed last night. We will continue to feel the Christmas spirit until Epiphany on January 6th, but today we'll
start packing up the decorations and the disorder from our weeks of Christmas preparation and celebration. The ordinary time is knocking at our door and we must greet it with a little preparation and readiness.
The starting is the hard part...but I hope I can report later that much was accomplished. ...with the help of my audiobook of course, Eclipse (Twilight, story 3). Here's to 2009!
postscript: if you look on my sidebar you will see that I joined Twitter. As you can see, I haven't quite gotten to work, just yet. I am the Grasshopper (1) after all!

I wanted to wait until the 13th day of Christmas but then I wouldn´t have any help. So today was the day to pack it all up. Enjoy your book! I´ve read all 4 now, very easy reading.
Happy 2009!
what does it mean to be " the Grasshopper?" i still don't get it
Hi there Grasshopper girl!
Happy New Year!
I read that you are going to try to blog more....I am the opposite. I wrote a post about it. I am getting rid of 1/2 of what we own! I hope God will have our plans work out to buy a 1900 Victorian fixer! We must get our house ready to list...then make a offer on the Victorian fixer. We are about 2 months away from that.So I am very busy paintting and cleaning...packing and staging our house.
Please keep us in our prayers!
Peace in Christ,
Georgiann
I might not be posting as often...I will try to come by your blog every few days and see what your up too.
Love Bandit. Just in case you come back to view answers in the comments (I'm a dreamer):
The Grasshopper is what Nanny used to call me because I am like this character in the Aesop's Fable, The Ant and the Grasshopper http://www.bartleby.com/17/1/36.html
Like the Grasshopper I am a procrastinator and like to play too much. I have learned though, through the years, to leave a little room at the end to prepare, although I still like to play too much.
Does that explain it?
Thank you very much for the explanation !!!
