Living in a developed neighborhood for almost 10 years, it amazes me that we still see so much wildlife. I don't remember seeing this much growing up but our city is closer to the foothills. I've had a little fascination with hawks ever since we lived 3 hours away and traveled on a boring freeway in the middle of nowhere. Looks like I may have to tie my posts for August.  Really want to keep going with my posts to have a fair portrait of our year.  It has been a balancing act lately.  I definitely have pockets of time available to prepare for the busy time but I just need to find balance.  Last week having started tired after our trip was a hard one.  In addition we had doctor appointments, driver for away game,

Rod and I were a world away this weekend on a little pre-anniversary - with some business, trip.  We had never been to Las Vegas together and it was about 20+ years since each of us had been there seperately.  As you might expect, the city itself has energy exuding from everywhere.  The trouble is it's a deceiving energy.  Realizing that very early on we took advantage of our time alone together

We have a soccer seeding tournament this weekend which makes for one really happy (joyful) family member.  Activities are now in full bloom.  Cee will be singing in the choir this Sunday for the first time too.  I went to choir practice yesterday and was amazed at the energy and strength of their voices.  It was held in the chapel of what used to be the convent.  That music could of knocked those
